The company Vassilis Iliopoulos & S.A., with the distinctive title “SUN”, is the natural continuation of the sole proprietorship founded in 1976 by Vassilis Iliopoulos in Peristeri, Attica, who remains to this day President of the company.
Since its establishment until today, SUNNY specializes in the manufacture and printing of envelopes for Public Organizations (PPC, OTE, COSMOTE, EYDAP), Banks, as well as photographic, optical and catering businesses.
The management of the company consists of the members Nikolaos Iliopoulos, Stavros Iliopoulos and Leonidas Iliopoulos, who continue the work of the founder with consistency, innovation and vision.
The company’s philosophy is based on complete customer satisfaction, offering high quality, consistent and competitively priced products.

1976
Establishment of the private company Vassilios Iliopoulos, with production machinery manufactured by him.
1982
Purchase of the first German envelope production machine with window and entry into the public sector enveloping market (Ministries, Banks, OTE, PPC).
1987-1989
Purchase of privately owned space of 1,175 sq.m. and transfer of the business to 5 Verykokkias Street, Ano Acharnai, where it remains until today, marking the beginning of its upward course.
1995
Entry of the sons Nikos and Stavros Iliopoulos into the company.
Nikos takes over the sales, layout and printing department, introducing the first digital drawing tools (COREL) and four-colour printing.
Stavros takes over the window envelope production sector, with the addition of two new manufacturing and printing machines for public sector organisations.
2004
Upgrade of equipment with a new, high-speed enveloping machine and electronic quality control, enhancing the reliability and efficiency of production.
2007
With the support of the European Union, new offices and storage areas of 1,000 square meters are inaugurated, as well as the introduction of CTP technology, significantly improving print quality.
2008
Through a NSRF program, photovoltaic panels are installed, achieving 84% energy autonomy and enhancing the company’s environmental sensitivity.
2010
Leonidas Iliopoulos joins the management, as the other manager and legal representative, taking over the commercial agreements and strategic development sector.
2017
Recertification with ISO 9001, with emphasis on sustainability and environmental responsibility, in combination with the already existing energy self-sufficiency.
2019
Modernisation of professional equipment through NSRF programmes, aiming at full compliance with the latest international standards.
2023
Responding to the new global market conditions and the technological priorities of the time, the company expands its activity in the field of foodservice packaging, following a study and growing demand in the domestic market.
